January in Ohio is full of weather surprises and today is no exception. We currently are under a winter weather advisory which could mean anything from freezing rain, sleet, ice and snow so only time will tell. Until then I'll have some hot tea to drink and share some information with you.
The flu is in full swing here so if you have yet to get your flu shot you may want to consider it right away. Flu shots can be gotten at most pharmacies, even those inside your favorite grocery store.
On cold, blustry days such as this one productive (and for me enjoyable) way to spend time is working on clipping and organizing coupons and shopping list. One thing that is always on my list this time of year is to update my banking and tax software. I always compare prices between several different stores but I always find myself going back to good old reliable Staples and this year was no exception.
I placed my order and my total was just over $100 but after coupons that totaled $40.99 and Staples Reward points of $44.00 my total for both my programs including tax but just over $25.00 and FREE SHIPPING!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Staples Rewards it is a great way to earn bonuses from your purchases and by recycling your empty ink cartridges. For every cartridge you earn $2.00 and you can recycle up to 9 per month! Rewards are send out quarterly and believe me they do add up so you really want to consider enrolling.

Good Saturday Morning!
Hello all. I'm the other sister. My sister and I are soooo excited about our new blog adventure. We think alike and enjoy all the same fun things together! We try to get together once a week and do our weekly "flight plan" which consists of all the craft stores such as " Michael's", "Jo-Ann's", and "Archivers." With, of course, our 40% or 50% off COUPONS!! Don't leave home without them. Don't pay full price, wait till that 40-50% coupon comes out. Our last two stops would be lunch (we never pay full price, we use our coupons). We will have more about restraunt coupons later. Then our last stop is COSTCO. We love Costco. If you don't have a membership to Costco, you definitely need to consider getting one. What FUN! You can always trust all of Costco products.
Not only have we bought food there, but almost EVERYTHING you would find at your big box electronic stores but at a much better price! Hardware products for your hubby and flowers for those you love. Health and beauty supplies and perscriptions. You do not have to have a membership to purchase your perscriptions at Costco. I have never had to returned an item because of bad quality. And, by the way, their return policy is great. When ever we need anything, we always check COSTCO first!

Good Morning Everyone,
It's a bit dark and damp here today but what a great day to put on a pot of soup or chili. Yummy, nothing like hot comfort food for a day like this, yummy!
Before I do I want to share with you that I have put up some information under the "Scrapbooking" tab that you might enjoy checking out. You might enjoy taking a moment to look at some of the pages that we have created using the MyMemories Suite 4 Software. These projects are so fun to make and what a legacy to leave for future generations. So grab a cup of coffee and take a few to relax, have fun and browse through the pages and maybe smile.

your family? Don’t believe it because we
did. We are not sisters by birth but by
choice, which is even better.
We live in southwest Ohio, LOVE PURPLE (surprise, surprise),
